Corona Virus leads the headlines and fills the columns in every media forum.

Today we are facing so many concerns, many unknowns, many possible threats, so much uncertainty!

But I ask myself, “What do I know to be true?” The Truth I base my life on is written in the Holy Word of God. So that is my standard. That is my firm ground. That is my confidence! 

I know:

• The Lord is on my side. (Psalm 118:6)

• He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. (1John 4:4)

• Through God I will do valiantly. (Psalm 60:12) With God’s help we will fight like heroes and he will trample down our every foe! (TPT)

• The Lord God is with me; he will never leave me nor forsake me. (Deuteronomy 31:6)

• God will strengthen me and help me. (Isaiah 41:10)

• He has not given me a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

• The Lord is a very present help in time of trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

• I can give him all my anxiety. (1 Peter 5:7)

• No weapon formed against me will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

• Jesus, Himself, is my peace. (Ephesians 2:14)

If I am in Christ Jesus, God’s Son, who came in the form of man, dwelt on this earth, was crucified for my sins, was raised from the dead on the third day, and now sits at the right hand of the Father, then these truths are mine. These words are just a sampling of His care and protection. Find other verses, write them on cards, keep them with you. When the headlines and the reports grab hold of your attention, quickly replace the anxiety with the more relevant facts. He is my sufficiency in every situation. And I am in Him!
